[SOLVED] Fatal Error on FSX start up with reshade installed

Hi there, I am unable to use reshade as it is making FSX (non steam edition) crash on startup (Fatal Error)

I am running windows 7, 64 bit, and I have Steve's DX10 fix installed so I chose DirectX 10 on mediator (or copy the reshade32.dll into dxgi.dll, because FSX is a 32bit application).

No matter what I do it always fails. I had SweetFX installed and also SHADE (available at simmarket). I uninstalled SHADE (using the uninstaller) and removed carefully the Sweet FX by going back to the ZIP file and checking that all the files there are absent from my FSX directory. Still no success. Could it be that the SHADE uninstaller has left something behind? I don't know if SHADE is incompatible with reshade.

Bellow is what is logged in the dxgi.log file.

When I manually remove reshade files from FSX dir, FSX starts normally.

Any help will be most welcome!

I stumbled on this ( sfx.thelazy.net/games/preset/3878/ ) and found that I needed to install a windows 7 update. Thanks to the original poster, TheGoldenCoconut.
This update solved my issue. Leaving it here:
