Reshade 3.0 Effects not working for COD:WAW

When I launch WAW I get an error that says.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Call of Duty World at War\AdaptiveSharpen.fx(1, 1): error X3000: syntax error: unexpected 'unknown"

Looks like you saved the fx file in UTF with BOM encoding (the "UTF8" selection in Windows Notepad does that for instance). This is not supported by ReShade. ReShade only supports ANSI and UTF8 without BOM. So make sure you save the file again in the proper encoding.
This should not be a problem if you downloaded the files from GitHub using the big green "Clone or download" button and then clicking on "Download ZIP".
