So, i was testing some shaders for a friend, and they compile just fine on DX10/11 and OGL (can't remember exactly), but everytime i try it on DX9, one shader says that the loop doesn't finish on a timely manner (gives me 733 iterations, wtf) and the other one gives an error about indefinite logarithms.

If you need the shaders for testing, i can try and get permission for you to debug with them.
