Crashing on Game Startup

Hello all, I want to use ReShade but anytime I try to startup a game after installing it, it just crashes. Any reason as to why it does that?

The games I have tried it with are Dark Souls 2 SoTFS and NieR Automata.

Any and all help will be appreciated.
