The only game I use this in is BF1. I've noticed that whenever I'm using reshade with BF1 and the server switches maps I get audio delay, as well as delay in connecting to the server. For instance I will hear sounds near 30 seconds after I'm supposed to while the game is in between maps. Then I get an abnormally long loading time to get into servers, and am usually the last person in. This is horrible as I cannot spawn vehicles if I'm always the last person in. This happens while I'm using performance mode. As soon as I delete the reshade folders from the directory and launch the game, all of these problems go away.

Delete all shader files you are not using or make sure they are not in your preset. Also use as little effects at the same time as possible.

Yeah, I'm only using 1 preset called "high pass sharpen", It was the only one I selected to install.

Another "trick" I've gotten used to doing is using Tonemap, Curves, Levels, DPX, etc. to get it to look exactly how I want and then use the CreatLUT shader to generate a "lut.png" file. Then I only have to enable LUT.fx using the new LUT and it's way faster.

Yeah i've just stopped using reshade until they can sort that stuff out. It's great for extremely casual games , but for high intensity fps games, especially ones like BF1, it's just not fleshed out enough. If I'm having to wait around in loading screens for the reshade to sort itself out while the game has already started, while doing everything as suggested, it's in need of some better development. I only install a (single) effect, and keep it in performance mode. I think having the ability to change all of the reshade effects on the fly is what causes this. If it were just a few files in the directory without loading software in real time , this prob wouldn't be a problem.
