Reshade 3 crashes with newer Battlefield games

I've recently tried Reshade 3 on BF Hardline and for some reason the game will always crash every time I open the chat or when I alt tab. I've tried downgrading to much older Reshade versions but other versions just don't make the game load or just make the game crash on startup. Is this a common issue for this game?
