Project CARS assertion box when going back to menu was created by adi518
Running ReShade 17.02, tried several previous versions as well: 12, 13, 13.01, 13.02 etc'. Same phenomena in all of them. It's not ReShade or SWFX that crash, but the game. Somehow, dxgi is causing a memory access error, thus causing the game to throw an assertion box and essentially a ctd. I looked in the injector log files and found nothing that may indicate a problem. Unfortunately, neither in the game log files.
Pcars is reported to work 'perfectly', but since development is quite dynamic, that is no longer the case.
Hopefully, a resolution can be found?

The precise scenario causing this crash:
I initiate a race. Then back to main menu. Then, I initiate a new race, it starts to load and crashes half way through loading.
I think injection has to be 'flushed' once it's out of in-game. Loading a race for the first time never causes this error.

I do have the same problem with Project Cars (opened a thread over here:
reshade.me/forum/troubleshooting/567-pro...-the-first-race#4643
)

The first time the track/car and so on is being loaded, everything is fine. Effects are there, no graphical glitches, but as soon as they have to be loaded again (eg. going back to the menu and re-entering a race), the error above (as posted by adi) will show up.
