witcher 3 crash since most recent win10 update 2 months 1 week ago #1

Since the most recent win10 update reshade doesn´t work anymore when installed with Direct3D 10+
my game (the witcher 3) crashes when starting the game.. thankfully installing with Direct3D 9 works tho I don´t know what the diffrence is between them at least I couldn´t notice any diffrence..
I had never problems like this before just yesterday everything worked just fine and today after the win10 update it won´t work anymore there are no other changes on my system that could have created this issue...

Hi, i have the same problem and I found the solution in the Steam forum for The Witcher 3.
Simply rename the file dxgi.dll to d3d11.dll.
This file is located in the folder ..\the witcher 3...\bin\x64 the same folder that contain the witcher3.exe file.

Yeah i knew about that solution already but whenever i did that i got another error...
The error has something to do with a third party software called EVGA Precision XOC.. seems like ReShade doesnt like that kind of software so
the best solution for this problem is to turn off/ disable the software.
I still wonder tho why I get these errors now, before the win 10 update it worked perfectly even with the software enabled :dry:
