Hello There
I was recently trying to install sweetfx on AC:Unity and was delighted, that it worked using the Reshade+ SweetFX 2.0 bundle. But after I play about 30 min (using this preset by the way: sfx.thelazy.net/games/preset/3547/ ) and the game crashes. Any help?

Mind posting a log? Also, is there any more info you could provide (like what Windows Eventviewer says about the crash etc).

At the end of the Reshade log.txt ist says:
[19:39:01] D3D11CreateDeviceAndSwapChain failed: 00000000887A0004 !
[19:39:01] D3D10CreateDeviceAndSwapChain failed: 00000000887A0004 !
and acording to the eventviewer there seems to be something wrong with the "ntdll.dll"
Could it be that the game is DirectX11 but it thinks it's OpenGL?
Thank you

00000000887A0004 is DXGI_ERROR_UNSUPPORTED. That just means the feature set the game requested wasn't supported on your card and creation thus failed. Game would normally attempt to request a different feature set then. What do you mean by it think it's OpenGL? Do you mean the setup tool? Because ReShade itself is independant from APIs.

Oh sorry I just thought the opengl files weren't supposed to be there, I was wrong on that. So you say that my video card (in my case the GTX 970) doesn't support some sweetfx or reshade features and shuts down the game? I hope I find a solution to this
Thank you again

No, I'm not saying that. This is just the game running some tests and nothing uncommon. Still, which OpenGL files are we talking about?

We're talking about the OPENGL32.dll and because it looked out of place ina DirectX11 game I wanted to ask.

Try and rename it (ReShade) to dxgi.dll then.

So now after I changed it to dxgi.dll it deosn't create a log but still creates a dxgi.txt and it reads:
> Passing on to 'D3D11CreateDeviceAndSwapChain':
Redirecting 'D3D11CreateDeviceAndSwapChain(000000003386C060, 0, 0000000000000000, 0, 0000000015169A28, 1, 7, 0000000000000000, 0000000000000000, 00000000151696C8, 00000000151696B0, 0000000000000000)' ...

Hey Crosire,
I can confirm the same issue as fbiannis. Game crashes within 5-10 minutes five times in a row. Removed Reshade and played for an hour without issue. Installed again as opengl32.dll and it crashed within 10 mins.
Renamed to dxgi.dll instead and... played for 30 mins before crash. No idea if Unity is a stable engine (only just picked it up again, barely played it) so that could be coincidental, but when installed as OpenGL32.dll it does appear to be influencing stability.
Tracelog -- pastee.co/3R9end
Did you want me to get a crash dump too? (may have to remind me how to do that, forgot!)
