Long story short. If you're using Reshade overlay on Doom Eternal that's running in an Optimus laptop, it'll fail to boot. The only work around is to use an external monitor to bypass the laptop's Optimus. My laptop doesn't allow for the Optimus to be turned off unfortunately.

I play at a lower render resolution of 76% and I make up most of the details lost through Lumasharpen, when playing to an external monitor, it works flawlessly. However, when playing out of the laptop's own screen, Doom Eternal, fails to boot up.

I'm using Reshade 4.6.1 and I'm using driver 443.09. I did try to boot up another game that uses Vulkan such as RDR2, and it also does the same crash-to-desktop

Are there other work arounds besides docking to an external monitor?
