Hi everyone. I have been trying this lovely ReShade since yesterday, and it works great on alot of my games. But Flight Simulator X - Steam Edition, no luck yet.

ReShade Setup.exe installer cant find the API for Fsx.exe (it also launches fsx game , than it says "Failed", giving me options. I choose Directx 9 and it installs files. d3d9.dll - reshade.fx files.

When i launch the game, after 1st logo display, game closes itself, without crashdump files. When i look to windows task manager > Processes , i see dxdiag.exe also launches with fsx.exe launch, and after a while, it closes without errors.

here is d3d9.log file

I also tried all 32bit/64bit d3d9.dll dxgi.dll opengl32.dlls. With those , game launches to main screen , passing logo, i can fly any aircraft , but there is no .log file created or no effects activated. And no dxdiag.exe executed with fsx.exe

no RTSS active, no steam overlay active. I was using enb+(Boulotaur2024.Injector_CeeJay.dk's.1.5.1.Shader ChromaticAberrationShader) with success for FSX-SE. edit: a picture of this enb + boulotaur2024*** > i.imgur.com/jdfrVOU.png

And yes i didnt include those inside fsx-se main folder, cleaned everything before testing ReShade.

And this is a fantastic program (or what its called technicaly) , such great potential, such great!

Thanks alot.

edit2. i tried both ReShade 0.11.4 and ReShade 0.11.4 + SweetFx2.0 , with or without MasterEffect 1.0.302

Any luck with another D3D9 game?
I'm surprised "dxdiag" gets launched, must be the game running some tests. Does that happen without ReShade too?

Hi Crosire. I tried other d3d9 games, they working normal.

And dxdiag normaly not launching when default fsx.exe executed, but only with ReShade d3d9.dll 32bit.

fsx.exe launches, after 1 2 secs, dxdiag.exe also launches, after 5-7 secs, fsx.exe and dxdiag.exe dissapears, also 1st game opening image.

Strange. Well, I'll download the Flight Simulator X demo and hope the same issue applies there too, so to figure it out ... =)

@Crosire sir :) It worked. imgur.com/a/7r43a
I had to use dxgi.dll 32bit manualy, but it worked. Even i added Enbseries for fsx and i dont have to add "EnableProxyLibrary=0" "ProxyLibrary=" etc on enbseries.ini file. They just both worked together.

"dxgi.dll", "d3d9.dll", doesn't matter as long as they are loaded.
Glad it works now!

Because they might work well in DX9 but not make changes to dx10
