The title says basically everything, I'm trying to install and use ReShade in Sims 4. It's installed properly as far as I can tell, but it doesn't work in the game. No tutorial message shows up or anything, pressing `home` does nothing.

I have it set up and working in Cyberpunk 2077 perfectly fine, but Sims 4 doesn't seem to cooperate at all. I've googled the problem and tried everything mentioned in "[Solved]" topics, but none have worked at all.

That said, I don't know if it'll show on the main menu or if I have to actually be fully in the game for anything to actually show up. I know the "compiling" message pops up while Cyberpunk is loading up, so something must be wrong with Sims 4 and ReShade. Please, if anyone knows what I can do, let me know.

In your Game/Bin/ folder for Sims 4, is a dll file that might be called dxgi.dll or d3d11.dll. If it is named either of these things, be sure to change it to d3d9.dll
