I know this post is old, but I have found a solution. Lots of people have the same issue. The thing with DbD is that the .exe is to launch the EasyAntiCheat, which then launches the actual DbD down further in the directory. If you looked in the Reshade.log file, there was some troubleshooting tips. One of which said that if there was a .bin directory, to put your files in that directory instead of earlier on in the directory. I'm not sure if they made a change to how the game launches recently or what, but when you launch the installer for Reshade, make sure you hit browse when selecting the game, and that you're going into your SteamLibrary folder on whatever drive, navigating through to Dead By Daylight, then selecting the "DeadByDaylight" folder inside of the Dead By Daylight directory, then go into Binaries, then click on the DeadByDaylight-Win64-Shipping.exe. So for me the directory was "
\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Dead by Daylight\DeadByDaylight\Binaries\Win64" but it might be different for you up until the SteamLibrary part. The .exe previously mentioned is the ACTUAL dbd .exe.
Hope this helped. It took me a bit to figure out.
