[SOLVED] Problem with Witcher 3 inventory

Hey all,

installed Reshade to improve shadow gamma and colour vibrancy in Witcher 3, so nothing fancy. Worked like a charm without any performance issues until I opened up inventory. My fps drops to 3-5 and managing inventory is borderline impossible. Everything else, including other menus work just fine. So far I have tried to reinstall Reshade and different combinations of features (all the way to only the basic ones enabled) to locate the root of the problem, only to find that it's the Reshade itself that seems to be causing the inventory lag. Uninstalling Reshade resolves the issue. After hours of googling and troubleshooting I'm at a loss. The problem might have something to do with Geralt's model in the inventory screen. It loads up slowly. So, any insights?

I have Witcher 3 GOTY edition from Steam.

Specs:

i5-11400f, gtx 1070, 16GB DDR4

Same issue here. Game runs on Ultimate settings at 87 FPS but inventory drops to 2-4 FPS. I can’t seem to figure this out. Hopefully someone responds with a fix. Had to uninstall reshade or the inventory is useless. Troubleshoot graphics settings for hours before stumbling on your post and reshade was the culprit.

Heyo, i also had this problem and the only thing that worked for me was downgrading the ReShade version.
I'm currently using 4.9.1 ( reshade.me/downloads/ReShade_Setup_4.9.1.exe ) but there might be newer ones that work.

Thank you for the update. I’ll download 5.4.2 and give it a shot. The Witcher with reshade and HD project is like a whole new game graphically. I can’t play without reshade 👍🏽
