Hello. I have tried installing ReShade with the YQuake 2 sourceport for Quake 2, but it resulted in the game not crashing but running with a black screen, where the ReShade settings menu worked fine. Any idea if there's a way to get it to work? I really want to do a CRT filter for some of these old 3D games that tend to look kind of ass on a sharp LED screen.

Works here (Yamagi Quake II 8.20):

Which effects are you trying to use?

Sorry for taking so long to reply. Busy week.
I wanted to use specifically this CRT Royale port github.com/akgunter/crt-royale-reshade , though given I got a black screen with the menu showing over it, it I couldn't really test it. I must've installed it wrong...

Any suggestions on what to try?

Edit: I got it to render by changing from OpenGL ES3 to OpenGL 1.4. ES3 and 3.2 both render as black. Any idea how to get it to work with one of the other two, since they're more advanced?

You can post the ReShade.log. I went through all the video options though (including switching between GL 1.4/3.2/ES3 backends) and couldn't get a black screen to show up, with or without CRT Royale.
