Hi. When I try to install the latest Reshade, I get an pop-up error message during installation saying

"Failed to download list of available effect packages:
The request was aborted: Could not create SSL/TLS secure channel.

Proceeding without effect installation..."

I'm running Windows 10, 64bit. Appreciate any tips on how to resolve this

UPDATE your Windows or try using a VPN

I tried using a VPN and set it to countries like Australia, UK, etc, but it made no difference.

I'm doing all the windows updates now. I had them turned off. Hopefully that helps

ok windows 10 is all up to date now, still no joy

So far I've tried

1. updating windows 10, everything is up to date now
2. enabling TLS 1.1 and 1.2 in registry
3. Using a VPN

nothing has worked

OK fixed it. In case anyone in the future runs in to the same problem

You have to enable TLS 1.1 and 1.2 in windows registry, and delete 1.3, then the packages download as normal.
