Scarlet Blade online - Bad Performance/Not working was created by Polar_Cold291X
Trying to get reshade to work for Scarlet Blade online.
The only reshade version that seems to work is 4.9.1, but soon as I get on the actual game itself, the performance is bad, I also tried version 4.5.4, 4.6.0 & 4.7.0, game would hang during the Scarlet Blade splash screen, after a bit, I would get a crash.
It also seems anywhere from version 5.0.3 and above, the game would crash instantly the moment you try to log on to the game.
I also tried DG Voodoo, under DX11, DX11 works fine with this game, I tried installed reshade version 4.9.1, 5.5.2, 5.9.2 and so on, I can get on the game with no problems, but the home key does not work, I tried to change [INPUT] around within reshade.ini, it does not work.
Also on the original DX9 version of this game, I tried installed reshade version 5.9.2 and modified the [OVERLAY] section, it seems to go through but still encountering problems.
EDIT:
While using DG Voodoo, under DX11, I tried renaming: DXGI.dll to d3d11.dll as at times it may help with crashing problems on certain games, although reshade still working, the home key does not work.

Ok, I found it what was causing reshade to crash.
Just like Archlord, Lucent Heart online, if certain specific shader folder, or just one specific shader is installed, it will cause the program to crash, I am routing which shader is causing it, could be
multiple of shaders.

Ok, I found out what was causing it.
First off, if your start the game under true-fullscreen first, instead of windowed mode, when compiling shaders, it seems to go through more effectively, in other words, it keeps the crashing at bay.
Now, while under true fullscreen, during initial start up of the game, when compiling shaders, I have had several instances where the game semi-froze, I did: CNTRL+ALT+DEL, to get off the game, there was a crash window in the background.
The reshade folder I needed to take out was:
ReShade_HDR_shaders
I don't use these specific shaders, so doesn't matter.
Depthbuffer.fx, seems to be working properly, just tried a GI shader, seems to be working just fine.
Again its an very old mmorpg.
If anyone has problems with crashing on some of these old DX9 mmorpgs, try routing out the problem on the shaders that was installed, I would start taking out all of the folders out to another location within reshade-shaders, I would go 3 to 4 folders at a time, start the game several times to make sure it goes through, also, monochrome.fx could have potential crashing issues with other mmorpgs, namely Archlord.
