I tried using reshade on a game called bodycam, I installed it with the correct rendering api and everything, but it's just
not showing up. I've had this issue before; can anyone help?

Hello, Scout7174!
I'm facing the same problem. Let's help each other. If one of us finds a solution, he will unsubscribe in this topic.

I tried installing ReShade for processes: F:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Bodycam\Bodycam.exe, but ReShade does not add any files or new folders to the folder after successful installation F:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Bodycam. I also tried installing for processes F:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Bodycam\Bodycam\Binaries\Win64\Bodycam-Win64-Shipping.exe and F:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Bodycam\Engine\Binaries\Win64\EpicWebHelper.exe - but there is no result. The Bodycam developers at Discord claim that they use the DirectX 10/11/12 API (by the way, ReShade_Setup_6.3.3.exe define the API correctly yourself, I had doubts about this before).

UPDATE: 1
Disabling Steam replay did not help.

UPDATE: 2
And also, if you run Bodycam-Win64-Shipping.exe and let's try to delete the file dxgi.dll created by ReShade, then we will get an error: Which says that the extra is not necessary, since the file is open in Bodycam. That is, the problem is not in the API, the problem is not in the exe. The problem is deeper somewhere.

UPDATE: 3 (solution)
I made it!
Here are the instructions:
  1. Install ReShade with the DirectX 10/11/12 API.
  2. Select the file Bodycam-Win64-Shipping.exe
  3. Finish installing ReShade.
  4. Then go to the path C:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Bodycam\Bodycam\Bodycam\Binaries\Win64 copy the file Bodycam-Win64-Shipping.exe and paste the shortcut to the desktop/in the desired folder with games.
  5. Next, right-click on the shortcut, in the context menu select: properties. Then in the field labeled “Object” to the line F:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Bodycam\Bodycam\Binaries\Win64\Bodycam-Win64-Shipping.exe you add -dx11 at the end. As a result you get F:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Bodycam\Bodycam\Bodycam\Binaries\Win64\Bodycam-Win64-Shipping.exe -dx11. Then click “Apply.”
  6. When you want to play, run the game through the shortcut you just created.
  7. Enjoy the game!

The problem I have is choosing and customizing the effetc to get a universal kit (for all maps) for Bodycam for the purpose of night vision in dark areas of the map and weather conditions and time of day. If you happen to find the right kit, I'd be glad if you post about it here.
