project zomboid hud error

i downloaded "four walls & no light to guide me" reshade but when i opened my game, a few changes were applied to my hud and i was missing some things from my mods. there's nothing to notice on my logs, yet i can't see my character preview and absolutely can't create one without seeing it

i tried to take the effects away but the issue is WITHIN reshade

 any thoughts on how to fix it?
