Failed to install d3d9.dll: Could not find a part of the path '

/SteamLibrary/steamapps/common/GarrysMod/bin/win64/bin/d3d9.dll".

No matter the version of the installer I use, I get this error. I've tried deleting everything in the game folder then reinstalling, but it still will not work.

This was caused by a compatibility list entry being added for the setup tool, which only handled the 32-bit executable of Garry's Mod correctly. This has now been reverted, so going forward installation will succeed for the 64-bit executable again.

hey, sorry to reply so late after but I'm having this same issue. I've tried on 6.4.1, 6.0, and 5.6 without anything working out. Is this bug still persistent? If it helps, I was trying to update my reshade to a newer version - as I was on 5.4.1 before.
