I’m having trouble getting ReShade to work with OMSI 2 on Windows 11. Initially, I installed ReShade and mistakenly selected the DirectX 10/11/12 option during the setup process. After noticing that ReShade wasn't working, I reinstalled it and selected DirectX 9, which is the correct API for OMSI 2.However, now the game won’t start, and I get the following error:

"Access violation at address 60295E0B in module dBd9.dll. Reading from address 00000020."

I tried the following steps without success:
  • Deleting and reinstalling ReShade.
  • Renaming the
    d3d9.dll
    file to
    dxgi.dll
    or
    opengl32.dll
    .
  • Running the game as an administrator.
  • Ensuring all ReShade files are placed in the correct game folder.
  • Forcing DirectX 9 by adding in Steam's launch options.
    -dxlevel 90
  • Checking for blocked files in Windows Security settings.
Currently, the game works only without ReShade. When I reinstall ReShade, the game either crashes or doesn't load ReShade at all. Additionally, the
ReShade.ini
file is missing, meaning ReShade is failing to initialize properly.I’d appreciate any guidance to help me fix this issue.
