I said damn. Would you be so kind to share your settings? I'm currently playing through GTA V and would love to have it look that way. Thanks!

Yep, that's how people thank us who wrote the shaders they are just configuring.

Welcome to what we, the little people, have to deal with... Attitudes and arrogance...

Plenty of profile creators refuse to share their work unless you stroke their egos for days on end, even then only offering an old version because 'it's not done yet'. Others simply won't share at all in order to prop up their superior sense of self.

Personally, I would consider it in the highest regard that a tools author would desire one's own work but I guess that's just me.

It's the same on the ENB Forums, there's some guys there constantly posting the greatest screenshots, but refusing to share anything. I see that Ryuken is posting here also. It's indeed almost insulting towards the developers. I suggest making a rule that requires people to share their settings when showing off screenshots.

I don't think it should be a rule EVERYTIME you post some screenshots. I only provide the presets if somebody asks for them. This is also true for most people who post screenshots. I do think that ignoring the requests is a bit rude though

I think at least people should have the decency to acknowledge those posts and reply with a polite "I'll go with a no" or something along the lines. Outright ignoring people seems rude and goes against all these forums stand for, which is a community built around reshade and the wonderful tool it is and provides us with ways to take awesome screenshots thanks to the endless and tireless work of people like Crosire and Marty. I don't say people should go kissing ass left and right, but at least a little bit of respect or acknowledgement for what has been done should be in order, after all it's not like anyone here gets paid for this.

To be honest, I don't think there's much of a preset to be shared there, not one that can achieve what those screenshots show anyway. It looks more like Photoshopping the imade afterwards, or something similar. I'm not trying to discredit anyone, but it's not something to get worked up over.

They Might not be sharing because you can't play their Settings through Photoshop :D

I think Photoshop is fine so long as you use it to fix something that could potentially ruin a screenshot, or to do the format and size conversion. Sometime using PS to hide a tiny error in the image is okay, though when PS is used as the main source of touching up for the image then that's a whole another story.

I don't wanna sound like I'm defending this kinda behavior but claiming "it's Photoshop" and "no one that can achieve what those screenshots show" is just as rude IMO. You CAN do anything with ReShade Framework now, even more than Ps.
I should point out that this is a screenshots thread, not presets share thread. Some people including myself like to make mini preset offshoots just to make the most out of a shot but I never refused anyone asking for a preset.

So, should we separate the screenshot thread to something like preset presentation / show-off screenshots and just plain beauty 'you can do THIS with ReShade' shots - maybe. It will help preset makers not feel threatened when they see something prettier like that that would never work as a preset for the whole game.

G'day everyone,

I am new here and I thought I would show off a screenshot I have taken in a train simulation game known as 'Trainz'.

This is a comparison screenshot, where the top is with SweetFX off and the bottom is with SweetFX on.

I hope you like it and if you would like to see more, please ask. :)

Kieran.
