An old game like No One Lives Forever 2 (free at nolfrevival.tk btw) looks surprisingly good with the original ESBseries bloom on DX8 dll connected to DX9 dll Reshade with MXAO.

This is an animating dithered 256-color gif to better see the effect. The original isn't this noisy.

The LivesForeverPlus mod need to be disabled for it to work though.

Mass Effect 3 @ 4k.

I'm using ReShade 3.0, with LiftGammaGain, Deband, SMAA, AdaptiveSharpen, Bloom, Clarity, DPX, Vignette (to make the in-game vignette less obtrusive), tiltshift, and Ioxa's excellent Diffuse Glow shader, which does wonders when used with negative values.

Btw, is there a reliable way to tweak anamflare? In the above DXMD screenshot I tuned down fAnamFlareAmount to 0.01 and fAnamFlareThreshold to 0.998, but still got very strong anamflares.

pheabus, that whole shader needs rewriting. When I have time I'll sit down and rewrite all the lensflare, bloom, whatever from scratch.

Yeah I even tried fAnamFlareAmount=0 and it's still there, thought it's bugged.
And that would be simply awesome, please, take your time.
