Is it possible to use ReShade on a video player? was created by sneezes
I have tried loading ReShade into VLC with output to opengl, but nothing happens.
If anyone could ELI5 me I would be so happy.

To use Reshade with ENBinjector you need to download it from this page
enbdev.com/download_injector_generic.htm
first.Once unpacked in your install folder you must edit enbinjector.ini so that it points to Reshade's .dll and you're done. Keep in mind that you need to launch the injector manually each time before starting VLC.

I've had success using it in MPV player. Didn't even need an injector. The only issue is you can only access reshade or edit settings while the video is playing. There might be an even better media player out there to use with reshade, but I'm satisfied with this.
