Although Im not sure about my keyboard condition, but 1 button (F2) seeming-failure out of 12 (F1 - F12) is low in chance

Ive tried using these combinations (IN-GAME):

shift + f2
shift+fn + f2
(just) f2
..... fn+f2 = it DOES trigger the real function as hotkey for power plan management (Blance/High performance) even while in game. so i guess my keyboard is fine :dry:

IN ADDITION, even i have tried using on-screen-keyboard while in game, also using the same combinations as mentioned :unsure:

this is totally my first time using Reshade, and it is THE current reshade. i want to use it for my Skyrim Legendary Edition.
installation part had been completed and went well;
d3d9
dxgi.dll, dxgi
reshade-shaders

using the direct x 10 & all present in my skyrim main game folder (altogether with the TESV.exe in it)

what else can i do, o kind sir? :(

Did you see ReShade banner while the game was starting up? If not then for some reason, ReShade was not loaded. If that's the case, we need to investigate further. Do you have any other overlay softwares activated? Try to disable them to see if they're conflicted with ReShade. If ReShade was loaded fine but you still couldn't open in-game GUI with Shift+F2, you may try to change the combination key following this suggestion:
reshade.me/forum/general-discussion/2482...-reshade-3-0-x#18140

EDIT: IIRC, original Skyrim is a DirectX 9 only game, so you should choose that while installing ReShade. You can also just rename the ReShade DLL file (in case you installed it as DirectX 10+, it's named dxgi.dll) in the game executable folder to d3d9.dll
