Yes, those two games has a pb with Reshade vulkan hook. Crosire told me he was investigating the pb for Reshade not to start in some configs. For him, it should not be related to Steam layers. So let's see if he finds the clue...

yes it stops working for Vulkan ( NoManSky). . . had compilet some UE4-Engine Demos to Vulkan for test . . . Infiltrator and ABoyAndHisKite . . . no Lucky Luck

Hmm, Win10 had for me also 2updates last 2-3 days for NetFrame 3.5-4.8 maybe also reason

To test it, you have to use the Reshade installer, which will create a .bat file in the game folder. In order for Reshade to work with the vulkan API, you have to launch the game with this created batch file.

Because an personal 0bsession to ReShade i installed howl windows new first of all 0ffline . . . start ReShade for NoManSky first twice test are Negative but after reset the AdminCompatibleMode for NMS.exe to standart ReShade works again !

Have made 2x copy from Game folder to test more Options to run ReShade . . . in one folder i had no config for the texture path in ReShade.ini that folder was the first that worked again . . . also i have set in both folders the path for DefaultPreset.ini to file that i saved with my preveret settings . . . ReShade+Vulkan do @ all after Start creating a new 0ne in the BinaryFolder ?

After testin an quarter time on 0fline0s now it has news . . . Infiltrator&ABoyAndHisKite&NoManSky work on ReShade+Vulkan the news are that ReShade stops creatin his 0wn DefaultPreset.ini and it use my directet File .

Now on 0nline0s Win10x64-18o9 with latest Updates still workin on .

i dont use Shaders that needs TextureFolder ?

That's a slightly older version isn't it, think it's up to .314 with the latest Mega file URL but if that's primarily depth buffer related it might not be what's causing it to error out.

GOG too and I guess Galaxy isn't as problematic as the Steam stuff with VLK layers for overlay functionality so that's probably nothing and then that leaves whatever the shaders would be where I assume that SMAA at least can cause problems if it's loaded with Vulkan which might need a update to it's shader files or wherever things break?

Hmm but from the logs there's an emboss shader, creative adaptive sharpening from AMD either of the three(?) ports of that and then depth sharpening.

One UI mask texture which I guess is for that particular shader and ReShade doing a resize of it before VLK is starting to unload and it crashes.

EDIT: As for the newest version that should be the top of the page post #1121
ReShade64.dll and ReShade_Setup.exe but the .dll should be the same so you could just take that directly without re-installing via the setup exe.

Either works though, launch via that batch file and it should either work or break and then it's a matter of figuring out why.
Empty preset is what I would start with see if it works with just ReShade.fxh and it's ReShadeUI.fxh file for common properties and then add additional shaders one by one if that works until it crashes if there are issues with the shaders that is.

Depends on what it is that is causing the shader to crash during Vulkan compilation too and then there's a little bit of a thing with how the shader compilation works too where for No Man's Sky there should be a folder where the game is installed with the shader cache data although I think it gets re-created or at least it creates new files during mismatching or when new shaders exist.

Tried Wolfenstein II The New Colossus.
No depth, but normal is showing, although the Reshade part covers just the lower part of the screen, with the edge flashing.

So you managed to make it work. Cool. Normally, in the last version i provided, i included the last Crosire's fix that allows the compilation of the SMAA shader.
