Please add them back, it is cumbersome to do it manually, now I have 5.0.0 shaders and 4.9.1 and have to organize everything. Some of the legacy shaders are just in their own subfolders now (Insane Shaders), which is why there's duplicates.

Thank you for this update. Unfortunately, it seems that Crush Crush (OpenGL), which worked with ReShade 4.9.1, does not work with 5.0 anymore.

Thank you! The performance boost in Cyberpunk 2077 is outstanding on it's own, and that's before I have discovered the rest! I'm hyped to try more and Steam VR? Oh hells yeah!

4.9 was working great with X-Plane 11.5 (OpenGL) until it recently stopped working. I can't say precisely when - only noticed last night, may have been since I got a new PC a few weeks ago and switched to Vulkan Anyway decided to reinstall and discovered V5.0 is now available. I followed instructions/ advice to uninstall previous version before installing V5.0 X-Plane loads but nothing happens when I press the 'Home' key to open the Reshade control panel?I have the stand-alone version of X-Plane (i.e. not Steam version) but nevertheless tried suggestions to create a shortcut and add the 'allow reshade code' to the launch string but still no joy.So, my question... does anyone have V5.0 working with X-plane 11.5 (Vulkan) and if so, how did you get it working please?

Excellent release! Huge thanks for improvements. I hope BattleEye and Easy-Cheat whitelist the new version soon.

Some issues:
- OpenGL32 doesn't work for some games, such as Unity engine games
- Vulkan per-game doesn't work, but installing 4.9.1 globally and replacing 4.9.1 DLL files with 5.0.0 DLL files works
- Not able to disable logs/logging by forcing them to be Read-Only, something that worked well for ReShade 4.9.1, but doing the same with ReShade 5.0.0 results in ReShade creating logs with different names

Why not have a 100% offline version of ReShade that doesn't check up on updates or use internet in any way?

after removing all the files associated with 4.9.1 in games folders and appdata and installing 5, games doesnt even load it just crash!!! I'd to delete the reshade files for the game to launch, I just want a link for 4.9.1 for the life of me couldnt find it anywhere! in the main page if I click on "other builds" under the download button it takes me to 5, if I go to releases then 4.9 there is no links

Is it really necessary to call "d3d9.ini" and "dxgi.ini" the dedicated config files? 'cause those names are already used by some wrappers.....isn't is possible to call them "ReShade_D3D9.ini" and "ReShade_DXGI.ini" or something like that?
It all moved into ReShade.ini and ReShade.log now.

In Fallout 3, enabling almost any of the standard effects creates a black screen. I'm running Windows 11 and confirmed this issue is specific to Fallout 3 (another game worked as expected).
This is fixed in 5.0.1.

Also, is patreon the only way to donate?
For the time being, yes.

Was --ffast-math enabled when building? This can lead to incorrect floating point calculations. I'd be curious as to the relative performance improvement of enabling fast-math? Many moons ago when working with FP heavy code correctness was required, so we never enabled it.
I'm well aware. There are no floating-point operations in ReShade that rely on correctness (there are few to begin with), so it's not a problem.

It should still work if you make both of them read-only. ReShade attempts one fallback if the default log file (now ReShade.log) cannot be written (ReShade_<ExeName>.log), but that's it.
As for an offline version, I'd say two different official builds is already one too many, but it can't be helped. I don't want to add more complexity and add even more.

5.0.1 still causes black screen with a shader called quint regrade.
Its a dx9 32bit game.

Also 5.0.1 Does not fix the menu items that is gone now in the game Oblivion.

Thanks for the new release and all the effort you put into reshade.

I have not been able to play rdr2 with the latest version neither with 5.0. When playing with Vulkan the game gives me this message before making it to the main menu. Social club error:Social club failed to initialize graphics device. Error code: 18
With DX12 I am able to get to the main menu but when loading a save file the game just hangs forever loading the save file. 

I am able to play the game with 4.9.1 so for me its not a problem to wait but I am really interested about this new release and hope all the best for you cheers!

Whoaaaa.... this is insane.
Reshade 5 make my old Oculus Rift S feels like a new HMD with sharp detail and crazy black level (and white level also).
But very strange, it cannot hook with Half Life Alyx.
Did someone already test this with Half Alyx? is it a common problem, or just me? :-|

Aha! I've found how to solve problem not hooked with Half Life Alyx VR.

** We should rename dxgi.dll to kernel32.dll
**  to prevent flickering caused by Half Life Alyx dynamic resolution with Reshade processing, then we should add these commands options to disable it :

-console -vconsole +vr_fidelity_level_auto 0 +vr_fidelity_level 3

you can add it on your steam command option or you also may add it with your hlvr.exe shortcut.

Now it's running flawless in my PC. And I'm so happy with the result (crazy sharp and detail)

For me, the 5.0.1 version is not working using LaunchboxPcsx2.exe, if I use the pcsx2 directly, it works, but not using this useful program.

Worked fine in the 4.9.1, I think because the option to enable reshade on every vulkan game. 

Is there any possibility to get this feature back? Maybe the installer can give to the user the option to enable reshade in all vulkan games or just for a single game like 5.0 version has.

Ok, I managed to solve the issue by moving the reshade.json & reshade.dll (32 & 64 bit) files to the old path that reshade 4.9.1 used (inside of %programdata%) instead of the %appdata% folder used in the 5.0.0 newer version. This is a workaround, but like I said, it would be great to let the user to decide and choose between a global vulkan reshade activation or not.

STAR WARS™ Republic Commando depth buffer has been fixed. Thanks!
System Shock 2 when weapons are in use the depth buffer breaks.
Clive Barker's Undying hands are visible in depth buffer but nothing else.
Star Wars Dark Forces 2 Jedi Knight Reshade don't work. It can't even load the game. In version 4.9.1 did load but depth buffer didn't work at all. If You can fix this will be great. I really like to play this game with the depth buffer access.
