Reshade 4.0:
It worked perfectly fine before on version 3.4.1. I hope you can figure out the problem and roll out a fix soon.

There don't appear to be any redirects or anything unusual going on with the site, and Firefox is showing that it is encrypted. False positive?

There is some confusion here for me...
See this Thread and this Thread for the reason behind that change. Since the initial pull request the shader got updated but changing the description was forgotten. The intention is that you can check out what depth input settings you need - in real time - and then put them in the preprocessor definitions.
@koitsu
That happens with most new releases. Takes a couple of days for windows defender/antivirus programs to realize that ReShade is not malicious.

ReShade proves selfless (or limited-selfish ) collaboration is possible and can achieve outstanding results.Marty wrote: You are doing god's work Crosire and everyone who contributes.

When reloading a couple of times the order in Statistics->Effects changes:
1. AdaptiveFog.fx
2. ASCII.fx
3. Border.fx
4. 3DFx.fx
Reload 2x
1. AdaptiveFog.fx
2. 3DFX.fx
3. Border.fx
4. ASCII.fx
Reload 2x
1. AdaptiveFog.fx
2. 3DFX.fx
3. Border.fx
4. Cartoon.fx
If a shader is open in the editor and its position has changed the following happens:
- The content of the editor stays the same
- The path to the shader changes
That leads the editor to save to the wrong file.
[Edit]
Sometimes - after reloading - the editor looses the information where the currently viewed file comes from: the path is empty and the Save & Reload button disappears.

Arrg. First people want seconds on the clock, now they want them removed again . It's not possible right. Will probably add an option for this.Wicked Sick wrote: Just one thing, is it possible to hide the seconds of the clock?
Haha I am sorry, man. Is just that I always use the clock on so I can keep track of time, and the seconds in there was a bit distracting, nothing major, but an option to toggle this on and off would be nice.
Again, what a wonderful ReShade installment has this been! Congratulations! I am afraid that with my English vocabulary I will not be able to express how impressed I am with this new ReShade. Thanks a lot from the bottom of my heart, Crosire.

koitsu wrote: Hi, I just registered to report this. Just downloaded the installer via the website (dl link=https://reshade.me/downloads/ReShade_Setup_4.0.0.exe), and Win10 is blocking it due to malware. I switched over to the macbook, transferred it to USB, and Windows Defender immediately flagged it as malicious (Trojan:Win32/Fuerboos.A!cl) when I attempted to pull it off the USB. I don't see anyone else mentioning this in the thread here, so not sure if I'm the first case or just on a crazy Win10 client. FWIW, one engine in virustotal is also flagging it.

i am sure of it. I am also on W10 and I had no troubles with it. Actually, now that I think about it, I never had any issue with ReShade regarding this... Using it for years now, and even before the ReShade, from the times of FXAA injection and forth, never had an issue.
I wrote this just to say that you can rest assured that this is a false positive thing.
