Tojkar -- just go land on one of the landing pads of one of your frigates, like you would when you have to repair them. You have to get out of your ship to go inside the frigate... or just don't go inside and instead jet around space! Note you can fall and die apparently (there may be some limitation of how far you can stray, I read somewhere I think), I've only done it so far to walk over a frigate for some nice screenies. One guy however did manage to get out of a frigate close to a planet, and fall to the planet's surface. That's cool

There's no depth buffer access so no AO or DOF.
The game does a pretty good job of faking shadows. I'll eventually post my preset but I'm still tweaking it. I'm currently on Episode 2, which mainly takes place at night, so it's much different than the day time scenes. Trying to find a preset that works for both. Here are some WIP shots:
Okay, so I just started Episode 3 and I think I'm going to give up the notion of trying to do a single preset for all of the episodes. My main goal with all of them is to get rid of the annoying color cast and go for a more cinematic look. Here are some shots from my WIP preset for episode 3.
Note: All screenshots were captured at native 3440x1440 but scaled down.

It's a pity we can't have ambient Occlusion on Telltale Games...

Depth buffer is not available in those games ? MXAO does not work ?

Nope.
I've tried Back to the future, Sam&max season 3, Tales of Monkey Island, and a bunch of others.
I've tried most of your dx9 dlls but managed to see Depth Buffer only on The Walking Dead season 1 and disabling shadows and effects.
In Season 2 I see it only on the main menu.
