Menu layout change, just more compact.
Added
Depth Map Clamp
Clamps Min and Max setting of Your Depth Map, you may want to turn this ON if going pass 25+ Depth. Default is Off
Like in the game Warhammer Vermintide. Once you go pass 25 Depth the warping on the weapon is Harsh. So turning this on will help with the warping.
Updated Depth Maps
Witcher 3 DM 20
Assassin Creed Unity DM 21 you can still use DM 3
Just Cause 3 DM 21
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided DM 26
Souls Games DM 16
Rise Son of Rome DM 17
Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor DM 14
The last Depth Map check will be done on the game Magicka 2 Not altered in this update.
I will Leave this update up for testing.
The Clamp was added for people pushing the Depth past 25+ I hope this helps.
If everything working well This will be back-ported to reshade 2.0 and pushed as the main Update.
Also Question do you guys want the repack or just the files to put in to the reshade 2.0 folder?
Since concerns over a Trojan this is why I ask.
nice !
blueknightsky you missed some of my questions before
One is about the pictures I uploaded Custom 3 you said to bring the black to the cam . how and how much ? is there kind of white I should choose from because there is whiter that you cant see anything on the pictures expect white which is not good I guess. there is very bright white that you can see the graphics and there is some kind of white grey. in your batman screenshots you used on near and mid white grey and far bright white. can you explain ? I want to know what you do so I know what you know . and how can I fix some broken images like its motion blur on many objects the gui and others same with P3D with tridef ?
Thanks .
and btw cant I use your email to donate from paypal.com ? dont you have account there ?
Ok so in your picture you have it kind of like this.
You have too much Precision at front
You need it to be more like this.
The first one will work but with a game like that you want to spread out the Depth Precision a bit.
But if it was a FPS I think the first one is what you want. Since it has more pop from the objects in front.
But, most games the goal is for something like this.
This is the site I got the charts from. developer.nvidia.com/content/depth-precision-visualized Also has a explanation to the graphs.
As for the paypal thing. I don't know why paypal.me/BlueSkyDefender does not work. Maybe due to some regulation.
Thanks !
I will do more tests and might ask for more help cause I want to have the right precision before I start to play.
ye paypal.me doesnt support Israel account or Ips . if I use your email on paypal.com would the money arrive ?
Ya depth precision not easy. This is part of the reason i have a lot of presets for games. Also each game uses a little different setting.
Also part of reason I added the clamp.
As for the GUI problem I think I will add a way to use a over overlay. But, This would be planed down the road.
Yes the same email you use to contact me is the same email I use for paypal.

EDIT : But I think 15 depth would be better, less motion blur
Blueskyknight if you want to fast skip the Just Cause 3 Intro use this mod
www65.zippyshare.com/v/B9qvHoSb/file.html
a fast guide is you add this command in the launch-in in steam :
Launch options code to be pasted (one line):
--vfs-fs dropzone --vfs-archive patch_win64 --vfs-archive archives_win64 --vfs-fs
You go to Local Files > Browse Local Files > Copy the extracted files as it is
It will skip the annoying 30 sec intro I went insane every time I needed to re enter the game

Depth Clamp is for extreme cases. and thank you for the information. And Depth Clamp really for 25+ Depth so if your going in too the 30- 40 range in some games.

Have we talked about Assetto Corsa ever? I might give it a try with that sometime soon just for kicks.
I do get a "divide by zero" error message (two of them actually) with all versions later than 1.8.6 (I think). It doesn't seem to cause any problems so I haven't worried about it. This happens in every game which I try turning SuperDepth3D in (it does not occur with other shaders,) Again, not a big deal since it works just fine, but thought you should know.
I've also recently tested it with Dragon Age Origins and Dragon Age Inquisition. With DAO no shader works (the ReShade install message appears top-left upon launch of DAO, but no shaders I tried would actually function).
With DAI I tried DepthMap 14 since the game has a similar perspective to Witcher 3. And it worked! It's obviously not a correct depthmap for the game, but it does function. (BTW, both those games are fully-supported by TriDef, so I probably won't actually use SuperDepth3D with them, I was just curious to see if it would work and what performance would be like). Once a "final" release of ReShade 3.0 is available I might play a lot more with settings in games like DAI.

mr_spongeworthy wrote: Still following along with your updates. Been using it in Witcher 3 a bit now also. I went with the alternative depthmap of 14 for Witcher 3 because 20 provides very little depth for me, even when pushed to extremely high levels (like 50). Depthmap 14 seems to work pretty well however, even clear down around the 20 mark. Primarily still using it for FO4 however.

Reshade is already final .
Version 3.0.0 was released on September 29th 2016.
Hint: Use preset files that can be created from ReShade's in-game user interface to share your configurations.

Depth maps fixes and new Features.
I also Reworked the readMe.
Update is already up on GitHub.
More settings as well. 1.8.8 was placed in to Legacy.
Also a small note on MediaFire I seem to be having problems with uploading. If the link not working I will re-upload it again later.

I will be Adding How-To Guides a bit later.

Any more recommended settings aside from just DM 11 for Dying Light?
Also with GTAV even with Radial Blur it seems the guns and NPCs have a noticeable and distracting blur outline? Everything default except what's suggested in the Readme and using Top and Bottom.

Lower the Depth if you want less Halos other then that you can try a different depth map.

Arioch wrote: The depth map enhancement feature is really nice. I set it to .8 with DM14 on Witcher 3 and it really enhances the 3D effect with my depth setting of 30 and perspective of 0.
I am still working on trying to make the program better.
It's a ongoing project. I just figured out how to control Zero Parallax Distance AKA convergence.
Also working warping control.

On GTAV do you deal with the Halos or have you since tweaked it from your recommendation in the guide? With Depth 40 should Depth Map Clamp also be enabled?
Thanks.

The reason I removed the Blur Value recommendation. Because, This was based on my personal preference. Blur Value should be set by each person personal taste.
So now I am giving a general preference on the type of blur that should be used.
Also checking each game takes time.

Added option to change the edges of Perspective.
Small adjustment on screen warping.
on a side note
Depth Map 18 seems good for Quantum Break.

Also: I see from the compatibility list that Quake 4 is "perfect", but there's no access to the depth buffer in Prey. Is their rendering code so much different, despite both being based on the Doom 3 engine? And if Prey does not give access to the depth buffer, how could it run in stereoscopy with Windows XP and the legacy nVidia stereoscopic drivers?

Compatibility is not up to me. It's when ever reshade able to grab a depth map. So this is a question for crosire.
But, for it working in XP and Legacy nVidia ya there was a driver that supported 3d openGL back then for consumer cards. As for why they removed it from newer versions. That's a question for nvidia.

AladinZ wrote: Hi. I have just Tested your Shader with an OpenGL Game, and I couldn't find the option to output in Anaglyph mode. Is it not supported ? Thank you.
No Anaglyph mode is not supported. But, If I where to support it. It would be for ColorCode 3-D that or Inficolor 3D.

I'll stay tuned to the project in hope to see it implemented one day. Thank you.
