Blur Type should be Disocclusion Type.

I just forgot to change that I should do that now..... Thank you.

Shift + F2 does not work? what game?

Both Fallout 4 and Skyrim Special Edition in-game menu doesn't work. Maybe it is not working when you don't install any effects with Reshade and only use it for Superdepth 3D?

It should work. I don't know why the Menu refuses to start. But, yes I don't install the other shaders but one. I use clarity.fx I like the look of that one. Other then that my reshade setup is really virgin when it comes to many shaders. Have you tried borderless window mode? That some times works for me.

mr_spongeworthy wrote: A couple things I've discovered recently (hope I haven't mentioned them already):

Depthmap 0 also works great for Skyrim Special Edition (makes sense as it's the same engine as FO4 I believe).

Take a look at depthmap 24 in Fallout 4. It provides less depth than depthmap 0, but it has as far as I can tell absolutely 0 distortion. It's interesting. I don't know if you have accidentally stumbled upon a method for adding 3D without distortion, but I thought it might merit you taking a look at it...

Oh, and finally, if you ever get the spare time, I think you should do a "quick" experiment in creating a true 3D shader.

I am having a hard time getting reshade to compile. I have to work on that when I get a fresh install of windows. That will be soon since I am upgrading my PC soon to the RYZEN platform. From my old 860K :P.....

I also have to look at FallOut 4 depth map again and see if I need to rework it. I noticed a problem. that I have to fix. I will work on this in the next few days.

3D works, but just in-game menu doesn't work, I even get message that Superdepth 3D Succeeded! But I get one warning too (x3571). With bordeless window mode it's still won't open. I use Reshade 3.0.6 and ReShade 2.0.3f1 Super DepthMap 3D v1.9.0 Repack

What settings I should try to change for less halo?

You should be only using one.

So say you use Reshade 3.0.6 Install it.
Place only one shader like SuperDepth3D.fx
Then start the game.

You also remind me that I need to make a better youtube guide.

Man I suck at making youtube guides lol.

But they are both different apps and you can't make profiles without ReShade 2.0.3f1 Super DepthMap 3D v1.9.0 Repack.

This is how I do it.
1. Copy SuperDepth3D.fx to game folder
2. Install that app reshade.me/
3. Choose the game .exe file that I want to use with Reshade
4. Extract ''The Reshade 2.0 Repack For 1.9.0'' to desktop from github.com/BlueSkyDefender/Depth3D
5. Use ''The Reshade 2.0 Repack For 1.9.0'' for making 3D profile.
6. Start game and play

Ya that wrong. SuperDepth3D.xf is For reshade 3.0

The repack is a special version only in the rare case that 3.0 will not work no matter what you try. I can only think of a few games where this is the case.

If you use the repack you should only be using that. Since it has it's own Depth3D made just for that.

I am making a youtube guide right now. So I can show the install process really quick. I need to do this to make it easy for people. It also don't help that I have a lot of shaders.

I found tutorial from youtube someone 5h back made it.
With reshade 3.0.6 and just copying SuperDepth3D.fx to game folder gives me this error:

There were errors compiling some shaders. Open the configuration menu and click on 'Show Log' for more details.

Now Shift + F2 works but no 3D and I don't see SuperDepth3D.fx from Reshade menu either. I tried vanilla Fallout 4 and modded Skyrim SE (but without any reshade mods like ENB etc..) and they both give me same error.

Edit: I don't see configuration menu tab when I use Shift + F2. I only see Home, Settings, Statistics and About.

Edit: From dxgi.log I found this error ''SuperDepth3D.fx(5, 1): error X3000: syntax error: unexpected '<'''

For Fallout 4 Try Depth Map 10 and WDM 23

I hope this ends up looking better for you guys.

If you use the FlashBack shader use DM 6 WDM 4 I need to make a different setting text file for this shader.

Weapon Depth map 23 was just added for fallout 4. So you need to update the shader if you want to use it.

Interesting. I'll give it a try!

You know what would be great? It would be great if your shader was added to the default downloadable filters when you install ReShade. That way we could easily get the updated shaders...

Any tips what I should try before I do clean OS install? I tried reinstall GPU drivers, DirectX drivers, older reshade 3.0.5, CCleaner registry fix.

I don't know. But, I use ninite.com/ To reinstall the basic things back in to my OS.

Other then that, and the basics of what you already said and know. Looks good.

A general tip rather than a specific one: Download and learn to use Clonezilla (or a similar tool - clonezilla is free, and more reliable than many other tools) and use that to make a bootable clone of your drive. That way you can easily revert if necessary.
I realize you probably already have backups etc. but IMHO nothing take the place of a good bootable clone for times like this...

Your project just keeps getting better and better. I'm very impressed. The new setting with DM10 and WDM23 is very good. Plenty of depth with the DM enhancement set to around the 800ish mark (I'm still playing with it) and a depth of 15-18. Also adds a bit more close-up object 3Dness, which is really nice.

A good suggestion above also Aomei Backupper standard is free system imaging software and very easy to use.

Has any one tried the RE7 demo Depth Map on the RE7 full game release?
