@crosire: now that there is a "Releases" tab I think it would be a really really really good idea to also add the repository link to it. See, no one cares about the old release threads without actual download links. And unfortunately it's the truth, that many games only work with older versions (heck some games only work with 0.19 and earlier)

Hey Crosire,
Thankyou so much for the changes in 3.07, greatly helped with not losing ordering. On that note, and as I hear you have a small bugfix coming up, can you add a teensy tiny feature where you right click and have a 'sort to top' which moves all the currently enabled shaders to the top of the chain, in the order they are currently enabled. This would make it so much easier to play with ordering when you're trying shaders from a list that is (on my system now at least) 60+ long.
The only other die-hard feature I wish for (and would happily donate for if you accepted moolah) is the 'only initialise selected shaders' mode I called 'Performance +' in my requests thread , so that you can add/remove shaders from a single repository that applies to all games past, present and future and still reap the benefits of fast load times by only initializing enabled shaders.
As always, thankyou for Reshade

In fairness, the Creator's Update broke quite a lot of things. I had to uninstall it because Mouse4/Mouse5 input was no longer being detected in any game. Apparently others were having the same problem as well. You can always roll back the update until it has been fixed.

I got a lot of preprocessor errors specially related to Need_sRGB an SMAA, the come from a sweetFX folder inside my BF2 folder that I can't make it show, same for the .ini profiles that I can't delete.
That's on 3.0 setup and deleted everything from other versions before, but still those ultra hide files.

First of all, delete the SweetFX folder. There should be no such thing when you use ReShade 3. As for sharing: Take the INI file and give it to people / copy it to whichever game you want to use the preset with?!

that's the problem m8 the .ini preset files don't appear in my Battlefield 2 game folder as they supposed to, the Reshade 3.0 can open and edit them but not the explorer , even with supper hidden option. Reshade can't delete the old profiles also. I've already set all the security and read-only settings off for the folder. It is saving the changes and loading when I launch the game automatically as it should, just can't find the .ini preset files to delete or share them.

even if I delete everything related to Reshade in the game folder when I reinstall it from git using the .exe tool in the main page, my old profiles still there, tried to delete the whole game folder and they still there, there mus be a way so I can reset all that mess, where does it store those info, is it in a system DLL or registry?

ok seems that it saves and delete but when in performance mode only, at configuration mode it wasn't working funny part it could store configuration and profiles in .ini files that didn't exist.
This version is amazing, just wish you guys could figure out how to make the most cool effects which is MXA and DOF to work in most FPS games, dn't know skip to next overlay or something like that
One last answer, is it possible to change the greetings message on it, remove or add a custom one? like BF2 HD ReShade 3

Hi Corsire,
Would there or could you do Reshade DX12 support ? or anyone ? some games will soon get massive performance in both DX12 and Vulkan . like Sniper Elite 4 including Async Compute and we can't use it with DX11
Thanks

Quick question, I haven't really used Reshade in over a year. I am getting back into it and just started using 3.0 for the first time. I noticed that effect order seems to be somewhat wacky. For instance, I have ambient light and MXAO on. Before, in an older version of Reshade, they mixed together really nicely. Now, MXAO is being overlayed on the ambient light effect which causes some really strange looking stuff to happen. Ambient light should be happening after MXAO for a proper effect mix.
So, am I wrong or are some of the effects not in the right order? Sorry for the confusion.

What I like about reshade (as opposed to sweetfx) is that it's easy to set the order of your effects... in fact, it's crucial in some cases -- especially when trying to sharpen AND antialias.
Anyways, yeah, loving reshade and I always try to use the latest version that'll work on whatever game I'm currently playing. It even does wonders for diablo 2 and fallout 1 and 2. That fact isn't really mentioned much since most gamers are focused on making modern games look better or just different.
Of course, sometimes I have to use an older version or even go all the way back to sweetfx. But whatever. The older versions can still be found.

I know this is not relevant to the 3.0 topic but I'm looking for the older reshade versions as I had my presets set on it. Where can I download them? I saw no links anywhere on the main page...
thanks for the help.

I am interested in this as well. I believe I need 3.0.5 to get reshade working for ESO. 3.0.7 doesn't initiate and causes my game to crash. everything is up to date.
