That isn't necessary. The button is always there. Just scroll up (guess that could be improved).Martigen wrote: Select experimental variables UI

Maybe pin it at the top of that window.

I was using Reshade for Diablo 2 (glide wrapper) it uses opengl.
On Reshade 3.4.1 I have no problems.
But the new 4.0 and 4.0.1 gives an error when launching the game.
It says: "no useful pixelformat found! please check video driver"
I had this same error on other versions of Reshade, but 3.4.1 works fine.
So it seems something broke for opengl.
Just giving a heads up. I can still use the older version.

Just enter the full path to it in the box. See GIF in the first post.louiscarter88 wrote: Looks like you can change the font but . . . can't seem to figure out where to put the .ttf file OR how to tell ReShade where it is?
Yeah, will do.Martigen wrote: Maybe pin it at the top of that window.

I remember compiling the 2 github branches just last week excited to test the new changes, and they're already here live! Super happy with this update; fixed all depth buffer issues I had in various games, makes editing shaders way easier, and is MUCH faster overall than before. Only downside is having to update reshade for every single game I have it on! aha

Are we not able to enter exact number variables in 4.0? I used to be able to double click a box and input exact numbers on my keyboard. Now I can only adjust fields with my mouse. @crosire I hope I'm not being too nitpicky! I sincerely appreciate all the work that has been put into this project, I've been using ReShade since nearly the beginning, and it's pretty much a must have for any game I play.

Ctrl + click. It's double click on the drag widgets in addition to that. But on slider widgets only Ctrl + click.a1chera_ wrote: Are we not able to enter exact number variables in 4.0? I used to be able to double click a box and input exact numbers on my keyboard.

Just updated to 4.2 from 3.x and UI looks eons better! But it seems i cannot move the window anymore(its being blocked by AfterBurner OSD in my case) like i was able to do in 3.x. Resizing works(from right hand side only) but not moving. Must admit when i saw that new version is a major update(3.x to 4.x) for a second i got excited that DX12 was finally supported but alas not the case. Any hope of DX12 or Vulkan(sorry for joining a crowd that keeps asking this question) support? For example in Shadow of Tomb Raider some of the presets make it look absolutely beautiful but unfortunately DX11 comes with a pretty sizable FPS penalty drop vs DX12 for me(in some areas up to 30fps less and thats before reshade installation) and i am using heavily overclocked/water cooled 1080TI. So the choice is either good FPS with DX12 or better looking textures with Reshade and old DX11.

So I have tried to change LOGARITHMIC & REVERSED preprocessor and toggled them on and off and just about everything people have suggested but my dof still looks like this after updating to 4. cant auto focus and cant use my mouse like before.

Anyone else having the issue with 4.0.2 where when you manually type (via ctrl+click) a configuration value in the UI, that anything you type shows up twice? (i.e., "00..55", instead of "0.5") That's happening for me. It's surmountable, but bothersome.

@strawbis,
By set to [Use Preprocessor Definitions], you can see how displaying effect it from other effects.
You must make that effect does no differencing even you which switching it.
1. Open [Edit global preprocessor definitons]
2. Migrate settings from Preprocessor category to Preprocessor Definitions (do not press minus button)
3. Reload (in [Home] tab)

If its just about updating you can use a batch script that does that for you:
UpdateReShade.bat
