Is it possible that you could make this toggable? I often hold keys to toggle individual effects for comparison purposes. And sometimes i press them over 5s.

Please respect my ignorance lol tell me if I can improve a setting somehow I don't know everything about this app, and these are major changes to install look.
1: So when possible please let me check a setting so you never ask me to install new effects. I am tired of answering this redundant question. Please bro just make it so I don't have to see this question anymore. It's so tiresome when you have 20+ apps to update with SMAA only man. We need some kind of convenience features here.
2: Right now something is broken. I already have the effects and textures folder in my Steam folder. That is where I keep it, and where my install has it set up in every single ini I use. Your new system when nothing was checked completely crashed the app. If I check SMAA it just copies SMAA into the game folder. I don't want this though. All games use the same folder in my Steam app, and no one needs all of these effects in every game install. So some way to get around these issues. I may have missed something, but this is on first using this new version.
I just want to update the same install and change or install basically nothing like I normally do.
Before I would light up the app, browse was ready to go from program files, I select the game, and it asks if I want to install effects. I say no and bam it's done. That is what I would like to happen here, but it has become more complicated now with more button presses, which is not good.
In a perfect world, before lighting up your app I have already checked a setting that will not ask me to install effects. So on pressing update the whole thing just goes back to edit settings in the app. This would be amazing. Right now it crashes if I check nothing on the effects install. So I install SMAA into the game folder, even though I don't want to, and the app is okay. I then have to go and delete SMAA from the game folder because that is not where it's being read in my ini. It just creates a duplicate SMAA effect being read.
That being said great job on the app man keep it going. It's getting better and better.

You can use relative paths. Also, if you move a game you move the reshade.ini (which contains your paths) with it, so you don't need to touch anything at all.Sh1nRa358 wrote: Yes that's true. But relative paths can't be used. If you move that game, one will have to re-input all of the path links. Wish we could choose where the global dlls go.
See here for a guide on setting up Reshade to use a global shader repository that all games load from (and note the use of a relative path to point to the game's profile in reshade.ini as I have it set up): reshade.me/forum/general-discussion/6127...r-all-my-games#37413
As for global DLLs, not sure that would be possible without a permanent in-memory resident injector. Different games use different APIs and 32-bit/64-bit, and these need (as far as I understand it) to be in the game's .exe directory as then they take priority over Windows' default .dlls for these APIs (standard search priority hierarchy).

Hi, thank's for the reply, but what you wrote doesn't work. I did that with about the Rockstar games folder, and the RDR2 game folder itself, and ran the game in administrator mode. Don't know why it won't work... Same thing happens with Metro Exodus in dx12 (Epic Games), at least last time I checked. What am I missing here? Thanks.
PS: Really like changes made to the last version of Reshade. Thanks for continuing to improve on Reshade, highly appreciated!

crosire wrote: The depth buffer is the correct one. You just need to play with the settings in DisplayDepth and then apply them to the preprocessor definition list.
I have played with the parameters and nothing.
With the RTGI in debug mode I have apparently buffer, but it looks like weak and the RTGI is applied weakly, when I increase the fade out of the RTGI does not increase

There is something strange with the buffer

But the install is completed and fine. It just crashes when selecting no effects.
