I updated shader pack and reshede to 3.0.4

And my LoL starts glitching.

First i'v got this:



I restart game, and it's loads ok, and there was no such glitches.

But when i go next match... it just start crashes.

I rollback to 3.0.3

i reboot pc, and try some more.
no, it didnt want work with 304
it launch normal 1 time, and then just crashes

Any way i can get a hold of 2.0 version instead of 3.0 ? Recently formated my PC, trying the new 3.4, it does not work in either Warthunder or Il-2... Really dissapointing... Any way to get my hands on the 2.0 version would be awesome!

Panda Anti-Virus doesn't let me even launch Reshade 3 installation - detects it as virus.
After launch Reshade 3.0.3.exe installer immediately creates some TC_KEY_VIEWER_0.7.exe in the Temp folder, so Panda deletes it and Reshade 3.03.exe as well.

Where can I please download zip package of Reshade 3.0.4, to avoid messing with suspicious installers?

P.S. yes, virusotoal says installer is OK, but what is this shady TC_KEY_VIEWER_0.7.exe in the Temp folder?

ReShade doesn't create such a file, so you must have some other strange software running or downloaded it from a shady source. The ReShade setup tool is not closed and can be easily opened with a .NET decompiler like ILSpy to verify.

EDIT: After a quick Google search it looks like the file you are talking about belongs to Total Commander (a search tool) and is likely created by some auto updater of it. Either way, it has nothing to do with ReShade.

Thank you for your kind reply, I could not replicate same exact situation with said file, probably indeed it was some coincidence with some alien suspicions file, but Panda still deletes 3.0.1 - 3.0.4 versions immediately upon launch.
Though Panda allows to launch 3.0.0b5 without problems at all, so this gives some food for thoughts - what were the key differences between this and later versions that produce such upsetting effect.

None whatsoever except for the added effect selection dialog and of course updated ReShade DLLs. One big difference is that newer versions usually are not as widespread as old versions (for obvious reasons).
Some AntiVirus software flags files which have not seen much use with other users of that AntiVirus software yet simply as a precaution. Avast does this for instance, though the issue with Avast was resolved by switching to HTTPS with a trusted SSL certificate on this site. There is nothing unusual about that anyway. Just pay attention to the exact error the AntiVirus gives you. If it says something about "heuristic" then that simply means the file is suspicious, which can have many reasons (e.g. not being widespread as said), but doesn't mean it's dangerous. Since Panda does not count to the most common AntiVirus systems on the market as far as I know, I don't think it's very surprising that it hasn't seen much of ReShade yet.
Running it through multiple different AntiVirus software gives you a much cleaner picture. But you did that already via VirusTotal.

Okay, so I got this running and it seems great in Witcher 3. Easy to set up and good performance.

My one questions is about SMAA: we used to have linearization/predication settings to enable both color and depth. Is this now missing? Does it really matter? Color edge detection looks way better than depth edge detection so I am not sure I even need predication or anything else. I only use SMAA. Thanks for any advice.

And yes this system is awesome! I much prefer the simplicity of this. Now I just have to go over all my games with SMAA and reinject them with it.

Also, Wolfenstein TNO was glitched for me using this version. Could not move the pointer on the overlay or pick any choices. I could manipulate it a bit but could not choose anything so I just went back to the old version for that.

Hey Crosire, 3.0.4 seems to work with pcsx2(dx9 only unfortunately) but I can't open the menu. I imagine the hotkey is conflicting with the switch savestate hotkey or something like that, is there anything you can do about that? It doesn't seem like I can change the hotkey for opening the menu without opening the menu .

Add "fLUT_TileSizeXY=16" to the preprocessor variables on the settings tab and you can use a LUT with a tile size of 16 just as well.

Fixed in 3.0.5. All rendering backends of PCSX2 work now, input too.

i have a few problems with 3.0.4 , i only tested it in PES 2017 ,
when using gui, horizontal cursor movement is inverted , sometimes i have 2 cursors at the same time moving opposite each other,
and sometimes when editing effects , all effects would disable and i can't enable it again with the toggle key or the gui even if it shows it's checked and i must restart the game.

(For those wondering about it the changelog is in the first post, it's updated when there's a new release.)

I wrote this some time ago about Panda Antivirus making Reshade a false positive. Though it hasn't happened to me lately.



1. Right click on the green panda virus
2. Click Panda antivirus
3. Under the green compass there is a "Files in quarantine", it should probaly say "Files in quarantine:1". Click it
4. Click view detals
5. Press recover file, Make damn sure it is "Reshade_Setup_3.0.3.exe"
6. After recovery the virus software has learnt that is nothing fishy with Reshade, as long you download it at "reshade.me". You have no reasons to fear

3.0.5 version seems not working with (crosire) d3d8->9 wrapper.
Can you check crosire? (and maybe release an updated binary for the wrapper).

It's no longer supported. Use ReShade 3.0.
