Since you don't own a NVidia 10XX series card I will donate later in the week.
I think Mirror's Edge got updated by EA and the shader doesn't work anymore.

Ok I Tested it just now It seems to work. Maybe try checking if there other a shader interfering with it my shader?

I did have a problem where I had to reinstall VB 2013 and had to restart my pc.

For people who have two GPUs like myself, you will need to disable the Nividia gpu if you want to run your AMD GPU in this game. If you don't do that you will crash on start up. Same thing happens with tridef.

Tridef run really really slow in power3D mode when using the BF one profile.

I only run one 1080TI and only one shader I will roll back the driver and see if that corrects the problem. This was working with your shader and was one of the better looking games. A good show piece for you shader.

Thanks again,

Thank you Ya just two setting are needed Depth_Map_Adjust and the Depth_Map value. Should be easier to adjust now.

As for the weapon depth map that needs to be worked on still, you can ignore the values there. Thank you zig11727

Something seems off with the depth map it looks like it's interlaced........

Maybe there is a setting to help fix that in game.

Nice job on version 1.9.6. At least in Witcher 3 it does a very good job. Fairly low distortion and good 3D. I love the ability to make objects close to the cam pop a bit more. That's one area that TriDef has always shined - even in Power 3D mode. On the other hand, TriDef creates a monster halo around "you" in 3rd person camera games such as Witcher when in Power3D mode.

For fun and profit: when trying to decide which piece of 3D software you want to use, and/or tweaking settings; set the SuperDepth 3D hotkey and TriDef hotkey to the same key. Then you can hit that key and immediately flip between TriDef and SuperDepth3D, to compare the differences etc. (This can also be useful if you have a game which runs extremely poorly in and handful of areas using TriDef - Skyrim and Fallout 4 are good examples of this; where the game will run absolutely fine most of the time and then tank to like 8fps in just a couple of places. You can use the single hotkey method to flip TriDef off and SuperDepth3D on in those areas at the press of a single button.)

3D definitely looks slightly better, not sure if it's down to the AO or the separating of the depth sliders though. But i override both depth sliders to 60 and the perception of depth was good (distant) with minimal distortion.

So that you know the reason the updates came in slow this week was that I got food poisoning.

Now that kind of over. I will be getting back to finishing this shader.

So things about the FPS hand. To me, there will be an inherent problem with Z-Fighting. This is to be expected with this until I figure a way to overcome this. But, I still think it's important to still work on weapon depth maps since the still add value to the 3D image. Over time I hope to improve on this.

Using AO to help with the depth map finer detail seems to have helped. I am glad this worked out this way.

I spoke too soon.

I did find a way to work around the FPS hand Z-Fighting. This workaround basically tries to adjust for Depth map near the cam by pulling back the FPS hand a bit. May not work 100% of the time. But, it's better than nothing.

Almost done with 1.9.6 The last part I am doing is the Cut-Off Point for FPS Hand Depth Maps.
This had been a time taking. I have been trying to make the shader easier to use. So, more things are being calculated automatically.

Do you guys like this approach?

As for the cut-off point, I am also making it auto and manual too. So if it's set to 0 It's in auto mode. If greater than zero it in manual mode.

So far the only game that has this is Borderlands 2 & Prey 2017. I will be adding this to all FPS Hand Depth Maps.

Prey 2017 DM 9
DM Adjustment 2.5-5.0 I use 3.75.

Object Detail setting seems to change the depth map by a small amount. When you have Object Detail set to Very High use WDM 17. If Object Detail is set to anything else use WDM 18.

I notice a problem with starting Prey with reshade 3.0.7. I used reshade 3.0.4 for my testing.

I also have been enjoying the game Unreal Gold. It's one of the game I got to just test. But, when I was looking in the game for different guns. I started to just play it. :D

I made it where Z-fighting of the FPS Hand is minimized automatically by default. I didn't see a need to make this an option since It works seamlessly when you turn on a Weapon Depth map.

First of all - thank you, BlueSkyKnight for those wonderful tools.

I've almost got through with enabling Diaspora (Freespace 2 mod) VR translation on my phone.

But I stuck a little bit with Polynomial_Barrel_Distortion changing something other then it is expected according to tips (starting with Lens Center parameter):

Or am I getting something wrong?

And by the way, does anybody know any games with some kind of cabin (instead of weapon) in front of camera, those settings I could use as start point for the shader? It looks like FPS are mainstream here, so I'm a little bit lost.

Looks like something going wrong with the 4x4 matrix I am using to pass the information.

I will be downloading this game to see if I can reproduce this problem.

*Update*

The problem is with the float4x4. For some reason, this game makes the 4x4 mix up all the outputs. I don't think I can fix that without rewriting it. There are other problems with the main shader too with this game.

I will come back to this when I have time to fix it. I think I will add a toggle to the shader for this game. Just give me some time.

So I've been playing Chivalry – Medieval Warefare using Depth3D and Virtual Desktop on my Vive. The 3D looks amazing, but when I turn on the depth map view, it's completely white as if there were no buffer map access. However clearly there is stereoscopic depth happening. BlueSkyKnight hypothesized that maybe the depth map pops in and out, but the game consistency appears to have depth for me. Is there some kind of caching going on of whatever bit of depth buffer it can capture that allows the 3D effect to happen continuously?

Also according to the Reshade compatibility list, there is no note mentioning that there is no depth buffer access for Chivalry.

Here's my settings for the game:
