I going to assume you own a NVidia video card because Sniper Elite 4 supports HD3D AMD.
If you would like a 3DVision fix PM me.

ye but HD3D AMD is 720P 60 Fps right ? it didn't change ? or did it ?
I made it to work but there are big issue with shadows. not correct

But I'm struggling to make it work on Cemu (mario kart, donkey kong) : in windowed mode, everything is fine. In fullscreen mode, depth map is lost.

You would need to set your resolution in the cemu Graphic Pack for your game you want to use.

For it to work. I don't know why.
Depth Map 2 with the setting of 3.75 seem to be good.

Skyrim (original) profile was removed. Due to issues in with reshade.
The issue was the Depth buffer flickering when looking at objects.
Skyrim Special Edition works.

In the next few days If I get my new project working. I will be releasing a new mode to the shader.
I am just waiting on the device I ordered to see if it's even possible to do.
Once, I get everything in order I will be showing what I have been working on.
The only Hint I will give now is this.
"With the new Rainway app comming out soon. I hope we will soon have an other way to view our content."

New 3D mode added.
Column Interlaced added for Glasses-Free 3D Displays. You would need a special screen with a parallax barrier.
Added New Depth Plus Modes.
Also, re-adjusted Bayonetta Depth Map 4 setting from 15 to 17.5.
I am getting back to the profiles again.

I own a rift, I hate it. Between the standard SDE issue and how the software works, re-enforcing the SDE, all other positive VR gains are negated, IMO. Lack of clarity in a sim is a VR killer.
I have used SweetFx for years and would swear by it. Crosaire's work was fabulous for Aces High 2, I even have my own profile posted in data base.
I am in the process of making my own VR HDM-. So of course a find this site and well I cannot help but think that anything associated with SweetFx and Reshade , it must be worth a hard look. I see many peeps here are well and happy so.................
What I want to do is use 2 separate, 2.5K x1440P, LTPS LCD panels, @60Hz refresh rate. They would be the only displays connected to PC, they could act in tandem in extended mode, or be cloned. The majority of 3D depth stereo software appears to use a single display and then splits that display for left and right eye. So I want to use 1 display for left, and 1 display for right eye. I want to ultimately play Aces High 3 with my device and reshade with mods like Super Depth 3D.
I built a pc for VR, its using GTX1070 G1, it should drive this fine, but I also would not be opposed to adding a 2nd card for VR SLI.
I am still researching the gambit of required info so I have not jumped off with the dollars yet but I am ready to buy hardware, the question is software, of which I am illiterate. How could/will reshade and Super Depth work for my situation? I want an HMD for sit in the chair sims, cars and planes. This is the goal.
I built my pc's, I built my ww2 spitfire styled flight stick with rudder and throttle, I'm building an HMD. Building things, its what I do.
ty....
any help appreciated

It seems like when I looked into Aces High 3 Already has VR support. I suggest you wait.
Since as of now my understanding is that newer HMD are already in the making. like StarVR, Pimax 8K VR, or just wait for the main players to catch up.
But, yes I agree with you resolution is the main reason I do not use my HMD. It's Just too low right now.

No, this shader will not help you in this game. I Download the game and tested it to make sure. It did detect my OSVR HMD as an HTC Vive. I do understand your issue with HMD's right Now and yes I agree with you.
But, Like I said before. I suggest you wait till the vr tech catches up.

Wait for what, another proprietary device that has limited use because they are trying for an all and 1 solution, and then forcing crap software.........plus this is gonna be years. I have looked at the latest around the corner and its all based on the same snorkel like gear with limited software support ie:pimax
Are you saying that reshade will not work wirh the game? or that the super depth will not recognize multiple displays?
What if I choose a single screen and use super depth this way?
what about dual displays with a common control board?
Are you aware of any software that would allow me multiple displays?
ty
this is another case of software falling behind the curve, I really do think software could do a lot for this. I saw how SweetFX helped so! Wish my brain worked that way, and that I could type.....

spyknee wrote: Aces High 3 VR support is for RIFT. Other earlier VR dev kits have worked. The game is listed as a rift game with steam. Game dev's tailored there VR for RIFT, when logging you can choose either rift or standard display. Since so many other games can be altered with 3rd party I had hopes of Aes High being seen. Just depended if super depth would work with 2 monitors. bummer
Aces High 3 uses the openvr api. So it should Support any VR HMD that supported under steamVR. Reshade was not able to grab a Depth Buffer in the game. I did Test TriDef. TriDef has a dual Dual Monitors. Option I don't know if there should be a resoution limit. There should not be.

Ya, That will take years to do.

Reshade will not work in Direct Mode.
Reshade dose does not grab the depth buffer in this game for my shader to do 3D.
Dual Displays control board would be rare. For something like this, you would need to use two Control boards treat the screens as two monitors. Some how you need to get them to fit in a shell like this one. www.thingiverse.com/thing:287148
Yes, TriDef Has Dual Projection. This will work with this game Aces High 3. Since I just Tested it. Maybe this + OpenTrack will be able to do what you wanted to do.

Don't worry, about getting everything right. I understand you. The software is hard to get working if you're looking to do real custom things. But, what your trying to do is possible.
You would just need two small control boards that support the resolution you want at the frequency you want.
Two screens that would work for the control boards and the case to hold them.
A gyroscope and positional tracking.
You may find a board here / LCD here. www.topfoison.com/product/Head-Mounted-Display.html
I made a script to use a Wii-mote as a Gyroscope at one time. So this should not be hard. You can use a cam with LEDS for positional tracking. Use OpenTrack.
This Would not be easy Nor cheap. You will also have to think about optics and will need two lenses to fit this HMD. I am not sure what lense you will be able to use.
I would suggest looking or asking a VR forum for this information like www.reddit.com/r/DIYRift/
They may be able to help you more then I can.

Tri Def.........................
yes my brain is telling me 2 separate displays, each with its own control board. Common sense is saying use what tech is already there and dual monitors is old school. How its packed into its head mount is a concern. My plan is to alter a motor scooter helmet. A full head piece with things attached...I have some optics already put together. 1st run at it but the lens train works on my smartphone screen rather well.
I have been googling a lot but its some times hard to get real info. Plus I'm asking better questions now so more specific answers.
I know of the TopFoision you referenced, its a no, I forget why, been so many. Its prolly gonna be 2, 25xx X 1440 displays, 60Hz each, RGB striped, LTPS, 5.5" min or 8"max, mat finish. I like the SONY triluminous displays and how the do pixel spacing but no small sizes. Many nice smartphone screens but no hdmi control boards. Finding the right control boards proven tuff. I want to back the screens farther from eye a smidge, bigger dia lens train. Theres many options for motion, sound but 1st things 1st, I need stereoscopic display clarity.
Right now I have spent almost no cash, been trying to find the correct direction to throw that cash....
To a small degree I am not concerned about hardware choices, its a matter of matching the right components. Software tho makes me dependant on someone else, I do not like, it but in doing things, I often do not like it when reality bites.
Actually this could be no more expensive than a RIFT. Not that much 2 a RIFT really. Its choice of oled display and how they do 3D was a bad one. There software really re-enforces the SDE. How the oled makes blacks, ie: pixel off, all heightens the SDE. Better software could have negated the SDE a lot, IMO.
TY for info

So using the tablet. I noticed the best way to use this tablet is........
One laying down with a big pillow behind your head.
Two Sitting back on a sofa with a pillow in your lap for your arms to rest on and play the device.
Controllers Feel better when attached to the tablet screen. But, other than that the buttons feel squishy. Not the best controllers. But. they work.
Controllers are not good for Fighting Games like StreetFighter. They are ok for Games like Bayonetta. Hard to use with FPS but doable. They seem to work like Xbox controllers when using game streaming software.
How I used this tablet. I basically used it like a Nvidia Shield tablet. Using the Moonlight App For Android. This will work ok with Depth3D. You need to have Depth3D setup for the game you want to play. Set the 3D mode to Column Interlaced and Option Three for Downscaling Support. If you already play at 1280x720 use native.
I would have switched over to test on my AMD card. But, I gave up since it was a problem to get This device working well even on Nvidia's game stream properly.
On Moonlight streaming. Steam settings is 720p 30 also tested 720p 60
In game resolutions.
Tested to work on 1280x720, 2560x1600, and 3840x2160.... 16:9
Adjusting 1080p for it Better off using 2560x1600 seems like sweet spot.
My problems with it.
Charge time With battery at 17% is around 4-5 hours to full or close to it. I would not mind this if the device works well.
Kind of need to keep it connected if you want to play for a longer time if Streaming to it.
It says stereo Speakers.... The speakers are on one side of the tablet, so it might as well be Mono.
Heavy device.
Bulky controllers.
Wifi 5Ghz Seems to Drop out a lot makes it unplayable even at 720p 60
The 3D affect Has a narrow viewpoint. Moving my head even slightly causes Ghosting.
So I say Do Not Buy. If you wanted to use a this like a portable streaming device for 3D streaming. Better off getting a good cell phone for VR viewing 3D that way or getting a -.'New,'- Nintendo 3DS and playing Nintendo's 3D games on the go if you travel a lot
Oh if you want to play Android 3D games with TriDef for Android. Don't It needs Root. Once you root your device you need to disable SELinux. Once you do all that It still crashes the app. What a Disappointment. Oh and thinking maybe this tablet has one saving grace maybe I can play N64 game Conker's Bad Fur Day..... Nope it runs sub 20fps. Most emulators will not run well on this since tablet OpenGL 3.0or higer is needed......
Welp... It's worth a try anyways. I will be returning this back to Amazon.
The good thing from all of this is that now we have support for Column Interlaced.

I realize a bit of a hijack, but.........
BlueSky,
Tell me whats wrong with the above panels. I want to use a pair of these. The 2nd listed is my choice, depending response time. What grabs my attention is that it states it will do 4K at 30Hz, now 30Hz is bad news but I am thinking its the manufacturing technique for 4K used a 2K res. I need more info about this panel, its says for use with a DK2.......
question are which type a-si or ltps? oled or rgb? I was hoping for slightly larger as well
tridef forums not very helpful, I found mellots VR page, it talks about tridef 3D dual projections but its dated info. Peeps seemed to use 3D with earlier HMD's with this, but what about the VR version of tridef?
